Ready to go home!<br/>Jake and his brother Elwood (the Mews Brothers!) are sweet and affectionate. They would probably do best being adopted together. They will need a patient person to give them time and understanding to adjust to a new home. Once these boys are comfortable with you, they are very loving purr machines! They like playing with wand toys and curling up in a cozy bed for a nap. They have made a lot of progress since they first arrived and we know they will continue to blossom. If you need a mini panther duo, The Mews Brothers could be purr-fect!<br/><br/>Jake is about 7 months old, tested negative for FIV/FELV and is micro-chipped.<br/><br/>Our adoption fee ($75 for cats 1 year and over or $100 for kittens) includes a free vet visit with one of our participating vets.<br/><br/>All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinated for rabies and distemper and have been treated, if necessary, for fleas and parasites.<br/><br/>We do adoptions by appointment only. We recommend filling out an adoption application first; then you can be pre-approved before your visit. This way if you find a cat/kitten that you connect with, you can take them home the same day.<br/>Applications can be found here: http://schuylerhumane.org/cat-adoption/<br/><br/>We have Open Hours on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am – 1pm, Saturdays from 10am - 4pm or Sundays from 2 to 5 pm. People can stop by without an appointment.
