Jada's Story
Hi, my name is Jada! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Friendly, curious, observant, chatty
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history - will need proper introductions to ensure everyone gets along
-Can Live with Dogs: Unknown history - will need proper introductions to ensure everyone gets along
-Can Live with Kids: Unknown history, but may be okay with respectful kids ages 10+ (up to counselor's discretion)
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes
-History of Litter Box Issues: None while here at shelter
-Energy Level: Medium
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No
Additional Information:
Jada is a sweet girl who's had a bit of a rough month (to put it lightly). When she first arrived at the shelter, Jada was suffering from a broken jaw and was clearly in a lot of pain. After a couple corrective surgeries and lots of TLC, miss Jada is now looking and feeling SO much better! She is currently working her way back up to eating hard foods, but is nearly 100% recovered. Jada is a social and easy-going girl, but she can be a bit timid sometimes. Jada would do best in a nice quiet home where she can finish her recovery in peace. She would be a great match for a single adult or couple looking for an affectionate kitty companion.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
