Jackie (meet me in foster care!)'s Story
*To meet or adopt Jackie, please submit a Q&A for her on our website: http://goodhomepetadoptions.org/adopt! We are not able to reply to DMs, emails or inquiries made through 3rd party pet adoption websites.
*Learn more about Jackie on Instagram @goodhome_pawsitivelybk
*DOB: 10/11/2012
*Temperament: sweet and aimable; quiet except when chatting adorably in small meeps and chirps; affectionate but not overbearing; enjoys companionship but is also content to relax on her own. With her former foster, was comfortable and gentle with a toddler. With her current fosterers, she ignores (a good thing!) the disabled senior rabbit free ranging in the home.

Jackie is the absolute perfect cat. She is exceedingly sweet, with a big purr and gentle, affectionate nature. Neither cloying nor standoffish, Jackie has proven to be a warm and companionable presence at all times. She came to Good Home from the New York City shelter after her owner passed away. She was clearly very loved and well-cared for, as she exhibits immediate trust toward others, a quick adaptability, and an open spirit.

It is worth taking a moment to comment on Jackie's features. Simply put, she is stunning. Her coat is so black, that it in certain lights, it assumes a deep hue of blue. "Incandescent," "moonglow," and "ethereal" are some of the words her fosterers use when describing her. Her coat is also smooth, clean, and very soft. Her face, meanwhile, is "kitten-like," and her entire body is as plush as a pillow--from her pantaloons to her full cheeks. She is magazine-worthy.

At 13, Jackie (whom her current fosters nicknamed "Stars" for the white splash on her belly and obsidian black coat, or "Meeps" for her wide range of adorable sounds) is the ideal age. While no longer a crazy kitten, she is still playful and curious, leaving no closet undiscovered. Exemplary with her litterbox, she is also very respectful of couches and rugs, choosing instead to work away at her scratchpad. Her hobbies include: watching 90's movies on the couch alongside her caretakers, stretching in sunbeams, watching birds from windowsills, and being part about the goings on in the household.

To meet or adopt Jackie, please submit a Q&A for her on our website: http://goodhomepetadoptions.org/adopt!
