Jackie (c2026)'s Story

Hi, I'm Jackie.

As you can see, I'm a very stylish tuxedo cat-always dressed for the occasion, even if the occasion is just playing in my tunnel or chasing the laser toy. I originally came from Chicago Animal Care and Control, and now I'm looking for a home where I can show off both my playful spirit and my chill side.

Let's start with the fun stuff: I love to play. The laser toy? Amazing. My tunnel? Even better. I'll zoom, pounce, and dart through it like a tiny athlete. If you enjoy watching a cat have big playtime energy, I'm definitely your girl.

I do have a thoughtful side too. Once I've gotten my playtime out, I can relax and hang out nearby, enjoying a calm environment and just being part of the room.

I'll be honest about one thing though: I'm not a fan of hands suddenly appearing right in my face. It can make me a little nervous, and I might give a swat to say "hey, personal space please." Because of that, I'd probably do best in a home without small children, with people who understand cat body language and will give me space when I ask for it.

With the right introductions, I might be okay living with another cat too.

If you're someone who appreciates a playful, independent tuxedo with a big personality-and you're willing to respect my boundaries-I think we could make a pretty great team.

Now... do you happen to have a laser pointer? Because I'm ready when you are.

- Jackie

It can make me a little nervous, and I might give a swat to say "hey, personal space please." Because of that, I'd probably do best in a home without small children, with people who unde

With the right introductions, I might be okay living with another cat too.

If you're someone who appreciates a playful, independent tuxedo with a big personality-and you're willing to respect my boundaries-I think we could make a pretty great team.
