Jack White's Story

Meet Jack White!

Jack White is one of the sweetest, gentlest kittens you'll ever meet. With his loving personality and easygoing nature, he makes friends wherever he goes.

Jack absolutely adores dogs and other cats. In fact, he's been raised alongside seven dogs ranging from medium to extra-large, as well as cats of all ages—from tiny bottle babies to adults—and he gets along beautifully with everyone. His very best friend is a big German Shepherd who loves cats just as much as he does. You'll often find Jack stretched out in the dog bed, happily snuggled up with his favorite canine sister.

When it's playtime, Jack doesn't need fancy toys to have fun. He loves shiny, crinkly things, and even an empty water bottle is enough to keep him entertained as he wrestles, bats it around, and pounces to his heart's content.

More than anything, though, Jack loves affection. He enjoys being held, showered with love, and reminded just how handsome he is—and he's always happy to reward you with purrs in return.

At almost 4 months old, Jack is already neutered and ready to find his forever family. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle companion who loves everyone he meets, Jack White is ready to fill your home with cuddles, purrs, and unconditional love.

If interested in meeting Jack White, please submit an application here: https://fjcasp.wufoo.com/forms/adoption-application/

Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets's Adoption Policy
At FJCASP, we dedicate a great deal of love, time, and resources to caring for our animals, and our top priority is to see them go to permanent, loving homes with people who have the knowledge and means to provide proper care. Adoption Fee: $100–$150 Vet References Required We require that all potential adopters provide veterinary references. This allows us to confirm that any current or past pets have been kept up to date on vaccinations, preventatives, and are spayed/neutered. Most veterinary offices are familiar with this request. Our goal is to ensure that our animals are placed in homes where they will remain safe, healthy, and properly cared for. Long-Term Commitment Adopting a pet is a serious, long-term commitment. We want all potential adopters to understand their responsibilities and be prepared to care for an animal for its lifetime. Home Requirements To provide a safe environment, we require that adopters provide: - Proper shelter for the animal - Understanding of how to introduce a new pet to children and existing animals -Commitment to keeping the animal as an indoor pet Adoption Approval All adoptions must be finalized and approved by the FJCASP Board. This ensures oversight by experienced individuals who can confirm that all parties understand their responsibilities and that the animal’s welfare is prioritized. Adopter Responsibilities It is part of our adoption agreement that all medical treatments, veterinary costs, preventatives, food, and shelter are the sole responsibility of the adopter. Our goal is to place each animal in a loving, safe, and permanent home, and these guidelines help us ensure that every adoption is successful for both the pet and the adopter.
