Jack is a very special fellow who was adopted from AHS when he was a kitten. Sadly his owner passed away and 13 years later, Jack has found himself back at AHS seeking out a new home. He is in tip-top shape and his bloodwork showed a slight elevation with his calcium levels, which should just be continued to be monitored by his home to be. Jack is readjusting to the shelter setting and actively seeks out the humans for loving lap time, snuggles, and boy does he love coffee talk time. He is slowly adjusting to the other kitties and is very respectful of their space. Jack will meow to you sweetly when he greets you, saunters over with his swagger, folds himself into you with so much love and literally melts your heart. Jack is truly a gentle, sweet soul who has lots of love left to share. We do not have much information about his time in his previous home, however it is very evident he was dearly loved and well cared for. We do know his former owner would love for Jack to find the purrfect connection that will give him a lasting home for his retirement years. <br/><br/>Jack is available for adoption at The Alaska Humane Society. The shelter has reopened during the week for visitation only from 7-9pm. If you are intending to adopt, appointments are still being made on the weekends only.
