Izzy's Story

Izzy came from north of the GTA with two siblings.<br/><br/>Izzy is very friendly and confident, she adjusted quickly to the foster home with two siblings and two cat foster brothers (approx 1.5-2 years) in a single person apartment.<br/><br/>Izzy loves playing with toys and her siblings Cinder and Buttons<br/><br/>Izzy seems adaptable but would do well in a home where there is lots to keep her busy.<br/><br/>She should be adopted with Cinder or Buttons<br/><br/>Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cats policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.

**Kitten Policy** Please note: Kittens require the companionship of other kittens and the younger the kitten the more this is so. It is a developmental need. If you do not have animals at home and you only want one cat please look at kittens 6 months or older. By this time in their life we know which cats need the companionship of other animals and which ones would prefer to live without other animals. We provide an adoption service and want to match the right cat with the right home. It is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without other young cats/kittens for company. Please bear this in mind when calling to adopt. *** Due to an unprecedented demand (especially for kittens) we regret that we are unable to respond by phone to all of the applications we are currently receiving. We are only able at this time to phone those applicants who have sent in an online adoption application, can provide a vet reference and their criteria matches what the particular cat or kittens' needs are. We regret any inconvenience caused as we do our best to meet the overwhelming demand we are currently experiencing*****
