Our most royal and longest resident is, Izzy👑<br/>Izzy would love to be the Queen of her castle as the only cat of the home. She is not happy here at the shelter surrounded by the other peasant cats! Izzy has a personality like no other and the best RBF we have ever seen! Just because this chunky girl has a little spunk and attitude doesn't mean she isn't full of love too! This girl is all about headbutts and attention! Nelson County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
We ask that potential adopters view our pets online. If interested in a particular pet we ask for adopters to submit a pre-adoption application. Once we receive a completed application it takes a few days of processing time. Applicants will be contacted and made aware the status of their application. Approved applicants will be scheduled to come and meet the pet they applied for. If all goes well with the meeting, the adopter we be able to take the lucky pet home!
