That was Easter Saturday
We were called to help antisocial Ragdoll boy that would not cooperate with the shelter staff
He was put on the euthanasia list for behavioral issues
.....the morning of when we came to the rescue minutes before his time....
We found shocking news
The alleged unsocialized boy delivered 6 babies this morning and was facing euthanasia at noon
Babies were small because Mom was malnourished wondering streets of San Bernardino
Hungry and hopeless
E we arrived just in time to change her uncertainty and fear into warm safe place with plenty of food
Unfortunately due to tiny newborn babies and malnourished starved mom we encountered lots of obstacles
I have bottle fed them around the clock for 4 long weeks
The runt didn't make it ( it was heartbreaking because Napoleon was the first one to eat on his own)
5 others survived and blossomed
Mom remained skittish and reserved
She is beautiful
She needs very quiet and very patient human to convert

We ask the potential adopter to fill out an adoption application. We research the potential adopter and, if they have a vet, will conduct a vet reference check. We conduct an interview and typically will also conduct a home check. When everything looks and sounds great for the cat, we will place cat in their new owner's care. We stress that in the event that the adoption doesn't work out, the new owner is required to surrender the cat back to us.
