Ivy's Story
This sweet little tabby girl might act a bit shy at first but give her a few days and shell be leaning into your hand for pets like shes known you forever. Shes got the classic tabby coat with the cutest white socks, and honestly, once she warms up, shes an absolute love bug. She needs a good pre-bedtime hunting session to burn off her energy, or she will let you know about it at 2am. Once she has tuckered herself out, she turns into the coziest little bedtime companion, curling right up next to you for the night. Ivy needs a home with another indoor only younger cat for her to play and bond with.
With a slow introduction she could probably learn to love a gentle dog.
Kids in the home should be 10 and up.

All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for roundworms and other parasites as needed . Adoption includes a fleece blanket and discount coupons.

South County Cats is a volunteer-driven, IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our kittens are fostered in volunteers' homes. Some kittens come from rescue situations and are not suitable for young children. Most kittens must be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat or kitten. Please see our Adoption Policies at http://www.southcountycats.org/scc-adoption-policies where you can also find our Adoption Application. Please ask us about our policies if you have questions.

Adoption donation - $140 (cash)/$145 (Venmo) for kittens and $80 (cash)/$85 (Venmo) for adult cats and kittens over six months old. This helps cover the spay or neuter and care of this kitten and the spay or neuter of its mother and other household/yard cats to stop the uncontrolled breeding that leads to overpopulation and homelessness. Adopted cats and kittens MUST go home in a secure carrier, no cardboard boxes.

Our adoption application can be found at https://form.jotform.com/200017468978059. Applications are reviewed in the order received. Please email us at sccadopt@gmail.com for more information

Please note that this cat or kitten may have an adoption application pending. Adoptable pet listings are not removed until the adoption has been finalized. Pets are removed from the adoptable list as soon as possible after adoption.
