Ivie's Story
Meet Ivie! She has been described as an independent girl who very much enjoys her space. She appreciates having her own area and will come to you when she's ready. She is very affectionate when she's feeling up to it and will head butt you when she's wanting pets. When she's done, she'll walk away when she's had enough. Ivie is harness trained and does great for car rides!

This lovely lady enjoys wet food and especially churu! A quick way to her heart is those yummy churus.

Ivie has met dogs, cats, and children. She did not enjoy her time around any of them so she would do best being the only pet in the home. Ivie has been described as a scaredy-cat. She fears many things, including new people. For this reason, we think she would do best in a calm, child-free home.

Don't let this scare you away though, she's a very sweet girl who will blossom once she's familiar and comfortable in her new surroundings! While she may take some time to warm up to someone new, she is worth the wait and getting to pet her silky soft coat definitely feels like a reward!

She should be fed measured portions of a high-quality cat food to help her maintain an appropriate weight and long-term health. Any necessary supplies or toys can be purchased from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe.

Come meet this princess today!

*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.

**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
