Itsy's Story

Itsy is a petite, fluffy black beauty with a tiny sprinkle of white on her chest—like she’s wearing her own little locket. At just about nine months old, she’s still very much a kitten herself, full of playfulness, curiosity, and that sweet eagerness to be loved.

She came to FUR from a rough situation, and despite being barely more than a baby, she arrived with a litter of kittens depending on her. Itsy rose to the moment with all the fierce devotion of a young mom doing her best. That early hardship still shows up sometimes around food; she can get protective when other animals are nearby, a small echo of the life she had before safety and consistency.

But once she knows she’s secure, her true nature shines. She’s friendly, affectionate, and loves to play. She’s lived with other cats and can coexist with them, though she certainly wouldn’t mind being the only cat in the home—she’d happily soak up all the attention.

Itsy is ready for a home where she can finally just be a kitten again, where she can grow into her confidence, enjoy her toys, and learn that she never has to worry about anything ever again.
