She is full of sass and isn't afraid to show it. With the amount of attitude this girl has, we think she might be a tortie disguised as a tabby!<br/><br/>Isabelle has taken a while to adjust to the housecat life, but once you are Isabelle-approved she will be your little shadow.<br/><br/>Isabelle is good at setting her boundaries when it comes to too much affection, but this doesn't happen often. Her personality is expressed in a variety of sounds: a cute snore, snorting when she plays, a delicate little scream, gargling marbles like batman and screaming like a gremlin. She gets hangry and will nibble at you when its time for snacks. <br/><br/>She is very dramatic and does nothing in moderation whether it's walking, eating or playing. She loves any kind of toy, and is very fond of jump-scaring people and other cats. She is still learning that chomping people when overstimulated is not OK. She is improving as she becomes more comfortable in her foster home.<br/><br/>Isabelle can lounge all day, but she needs exercise to help manage her weight. She’s energetic, persistent, and happiest when she’s playing! She loves bedtime! Toes under blankets beware!<br/><br/>Isabelle needs regular brushing to keep her beautiful fur free from mats. She loves kibble, and is learning to like some wet food. She is on a special diet for weight control and digestion, but it might be possible to wean her off the special diet with the guidance of a veterinarian.<br/><br/>Isabelle is looking for someone who can recognize body language cues and redirect her classic "love bites" into more positive outlets for her energy. Nail trims, picking her up, and desensitization to brushing are already in progress, and she responds well to reassurance and consistency.<br/><br/>Isabelle hates being confined and needs a home where she can move freely, explore, and engage with her environment. She’s very persistent and curious, and she thrives when she feels included rather than restricted. She is not a fan of closed doors.<br/><br/>Now that Isabelle knows how awesome it is to get pets and love she is obsessed. She will sleep at your feet at night, nap next to you as you work from home all day, and insist on following you around as you go about your day.<br/> <br/>Isabelle would love to live with another cat who will respect her boundaries, but she might be OK without other animals in the home. She would not be a good fit in a home with small children.<br/><br/>Isabelle has been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, vet checked, and vaccinated.
