Isabel

ISABEL is a female ?spayed, short hair brown tabby senior cat with white chin, born about 2017. She was rescued as a stray, with Jeremiah & Conrad. Initially they were kept in a catio, then in a locked bedroom for some years. Her owner died, & his daughter couldn't keep them. YAPS accepted her (and the other two cats) mid-September 2025. The prior owner's daughter states Isabel was quite shy, but there was limited human contact with the cats. We find her to be stressed/insecure from the loss of her prior home, so she does not come to you for affection from her resting place. She appreciates a calm, gentle approach, & may accept being petted in her resting place. She prefers not to be held. She's bonded with Jeremiah & Conrad. Ideally (not required) she, Jeremiah & Conrad would be adopted together. When adopted, she should initially be placed in a "safe room" to gradually adjust to her new surroundings.
