Irving

Irving is around 4-5 months old and was rescued with his siblings from under a building. We drove right down to set traps, and caught all three kitties within the hour! This double-pawed fella was initially the most feral of the three, but he has come SUCH a long way. His favorite time of day is when he gets to be held and fed a squeezy treat! <br/><br/>Irving is still skittish and working through some of his wilder instincts. He cannot live in a home with children, as loud noises, being chased, or a lot of commotion still makes him nervous, and he may hiss or scratch to get away if he feels threatened or cornered. A more mature, patient home would be the best fit for him to adjust to housecat life on his own terms. Ideally, someone that either has experience with kitten socialization or the willingness and patience to learn. Starting him out in a small room or large dog crate would be the best transition for both him and his adopter, as he is likely to regress a bit when he goes to a new home until he's comfortable. We just know this sweet, shy, silly boy can become someone's buddy! He has always been around other cats and so would be sad and lonely as the only pet.
