Inky & Boo's Story

***Sharonville Location ***

Inky (male) & Boo (female) entered the shelter at the end of October 2024, along with siblings Cheeto and Frito. All siblings were found dumped outside our building on a chilly Sunday afternoon. No carrier, no box, just left to fend for themselves along busy Reading Road. One of our volunteers happened to come in to the shelter early for her shift and found them huddled together against our doorway. Boo had actually wandered off and because we didn’t know how many were initially dumped, didn’t know to go looking for her. It wasn’t until two days later, someone heard meowing coming from under the shed and realized there was another kitten hiding there.
We have worked extensively between our volunteers and foster families to socialize and acclimate these siblings. As you can imagine, they were distrustful and afraid of their new surroundings. I think we’ve made great progress but they are still “the shy ones” who are going to need a little extra patience. They will do better in a quiet household and we would not recommend a home with small children.

Please consider making an appointment to see if these siblings would be the right fit for your family.

FIV/FeLV negative

Adoption fee is $200 for the pair or $100 each

*Must be 21 or older to adopt
**Our shelter has a policy to only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter.

Our adoption fee for both dogs and cats is $100 per animal. We have a policy to only adopt to individuals age 21 or older.
