I was adopted 12 years ago when I was a kitten. I lived a very good life with a nice lady and suddenly I became homeless.<br/><br/>I was given constant love and attention in my home. Life was the best and then my mother had to move to a nursing home. I had to leave my home.<br/><br/>I am an exceptionally sweet cat. I'm a big boy that loves hanging out with you and lying on the sofa. I like to be brushed. I like to run around and play. I will look right in your eyes and show you how much I love you. I just want love.<br/><br/>When I came to Lucky Cat Rescue in 9/24 I was diagnosed with diabetes. I was on insulin injections. Recently after multi vet visits and tests I no longer require insulin. However I'm on strict dietary needs in order to stay off insulin that must be followed. <br/><br/>Would you consider giving me a chance to come live with you in what I hope will be my forever home? I will love you like you've never been loved before.<br/>If you can't adopt me, would you consider fostering me?

Lucky Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
Prospective adoptive parents fill out an application either at an adoption location or online. (Online is best because it gets e-mailed directly to Lucky Cat Rescue volunteers and is checked numerous times daily.) A Lucky Cat Rescue volunteer reviews the application, checks veterinarian references, personal references, etc. The volunteer contacts the prospective adopter to set up an interview. The prospective adopter completes an interview with a volunteer adoption counselor. If the adoption counselor approves the adopter, a Lucky Cat Rescue volunteer arranges a time for the adopter to meet the cat (if they have not already been acquainted). If the adopter and the cat are a good match, the adopter fills out the rest of the adoption paperwork and takes his or her new companion home.
