Hutton's Story

Meet Hutton –

Hutton is a sweet, shy, and delightfully goofy girl with a flair for dramatic entrances. She adores attention, but only on her terms. One of her favorite games is running up to you, striking a pose, and then slowly sauntering away, making sure you’re watching her every move!

Her favorite spots include the highest perch on the cat tree, where she can keep tabs on household happenings, or a sunny window where she watches birds and people go by. Hutton is social and playful with both cats and dogs, but her most unique friendship is with an African clawed frog named Tianna—they love playing pat-a-cake through the glass!

While she’s very friendly, Hutton prefers a calm environment and would thrive in a home with older children or adults. She’s not a fan of being held (though she’ll tolerate it when necessary) and will need time and space to adjust to a new setting. She’s great with other animals and would fit in beautifully with any furry (or froggy!) companions.

Hutton may have some allergies—her skin is a bit sensitive, and she has runny eyes with occasional tear duct discharge. An allergy test could help her feel her best.

Visitors to the shelter are by appointment only and after a form has been submitted online:

https://www.marshmallowfoundation.org/forms/
