He is approximately 3 years old.<br/><br/>This orange tabby tuxedo kitty sports a fun dip of color on his chin and the distinctive bobbed tail of a Manx cat. He might take a minute to warm up, but once you sit down, sit still, and gain his trust with a few crunchy treats, he insists on being petted with one hand and brushed with the other. When he's not begging for pets, he likes relaxing on his soft bed beneath his box house, to make him feel secure. Humphrey is more lap-adjacent than a lap sitter, but his deep purr and constant check-ins for love and affection will show you how much he enjoys being around his favorite person.<br/><br/>What Humphrey is looking for in a home:<br/><br/> - He’ll need extra time and TLC to build trust.<br/> - He feels at ease in a quiet and calm environment.<br/> - He needs to live indoors only.<br/> - He has no known history with other cats.<br/> - He has no known history with dogs.<br/> - He needs children to respect his space.<br/><br/>All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:<br/><br/> - $200 per cat or kitten<br/> - $350 for pair of cats or kittens<br/> - $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)<br/> - Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care<br/> - Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts<br/><br/>Thank you for your interest in adopting Humphrey! When adopting from Alley Cat Project, you agree that they will be kept indoors and that you will never declaw them. The adoption fees are as follows: $200.00 per cat or kitten $350.00 for a pair of cats or kittens $50.00 for a senior cat over 8 years old Flexible reduced fee for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care Adjustable fee upon request for adopters who are low income, seniors, disabled, or others with fixed incomes Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts Alley Cat Project is a 100% volunteer organization and 98% of all donations go directly to help our primary mission to reduce the population of stray cats in Seattle.
