Hugo Boss's Story
At just 8 months old, Hugo Boss is a soft, round little gentleman with the soul of an old friend—and a confidence that’s growing more every day.

When he first arrived, Hugo was a bit reserved, but now? He’s blossoming beautifully. These days, he’ll wait by the door to greet you when you come home, happily trading hiding spots for hellos. He’s even started coming out to meet guests—something that’s brand new for him and a big step forward!

Hugo thrives in a calm, predictable environment where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. He’s the perfect mix of cautious and curious—during a recent thunderstorm, while others hid away, Hugo sat by the window watching it all, taking it in with quiet bravery.

Once he feels safe, he’s all about affection. He loves curling up close at night and keeping you on schedule in the morning (breakfast is very important, after all). He’s a world-class window watcher, observing birds and the outside world like a thoughtful little philosopher.

And while he may resemble a cozy little potato, don’t be fooled because when playtime hits, Hugo can get some serious air with his kitten jumps!

He would do well with other pets who respect his space and would thrive in a home with an older couple or a single person who’s around often and enjoys a gentle, affectionate companion.

Hugo Boss is the kind of cat whose personality unfolds in the most rewarding way, by earning your trust, then greeting you at the door, ready with love. Hugo is about 8 months old, neutered and vaccinated. He is indoor only and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $125.

If you are interested in adopting, you can download our Adoption Application at tinyurl.com/oswego-humane-app; OR if you might even consider becoming a temporary foster caregiver, we would be excited (and pay all the bills!). You can email your completed application and any questions to info@oswegohumane.org!
