Huckleberry and Violet's Story
Please read through the entire posting and requirements before applying via our questionnaire at alleycatproject.org/adopt
Please do not submit an inquiry via Petfinder.

Meet Huckleberry and Violet A mother and son duo with a special bond!

Violet is a delightful and extremely friendly black-and-white tuxedo cat and is approximately 2-years-old. She was rescued from a local encampment site that was in the process of a city clean-up. Within a few hours of being inside, she gave birth. Surprise! Now that most of her kittens have been adopted, she is starting to show her spunky personality through play and curiosity. Her favorite toys are puzzles and anything that fits in her mouth as prey. Violet is slowly gaining weight (she was a tiny young mother!) and is food-motivated. She loves tube treats!

Huckleberry is a male, short-haired black kitty who loves his mama. He is almost 5-months-old. Of all the kittens in the litter, Huckleberry was the most connected with Violet, and their bond is very sweet. Huckleberry is Violets little sidekick. Wherever she goes, he is close by! Huckleberry is nothing short of a sweetheart that is loved by every cat in the home. He consistently plays and even gets groomed & cuddled by the resident cats. Huckleberry is also a lap kitty who loves to take naps with his foster mom. His favorite toys are a crunchy caterpillar and mini stuffed peacock, and he brings them all over the place.

Together, Huckleberry and Violet make a loving pair that will bring joy to their future home.

What Huckleberry and Violet are looking for in a home:

- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to their age.
- They get along with children.

All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in Huckleberry and Violet! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: alleycatproject.org/adopt

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder, as it will not replace the questionnaire and we will not respond.
