Howard Aspen's Story

Personality type:
Part-time lover - Wants to be in the same room but also likes their space.

Howard Aspen is best described as the strong silent type. He is young and gorgeous and is currently employed as the head neighborhood watch at his foster home in West Philly. He loves looking out the windows at the birds and enjoys cuddling up in his cat tree to observe the goings-on of his foster home.

Howard is a little shy and needs someone who will give him time to acclimate to a new home. However, once he is comfortable with you, his gentle and loving personality comes through, and you will appreciate having such a great friend in your life. He is a truly sweet and endearing guy who must have been through a lot in his previous life. Despite that, he has a calming presence and just wants to be part of a family. Once he became comfortable with his foster parents, he revealed his love of head rubs and started seeking them out for attention. He is food-motivated and also a big fan of Greenies treats; he always can tell when it is treat-o-clock!

Howard would do great with a quieter family and will blossom with love and care. Howard is living with several other cats and would love a feline friend. He could live with older kids who know how to respect a cat's independence. We think once he gets into his forever home, he will show how affectionate and family-oriented he really is!

Howard Aspen is around 2-3 years old, and he is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. Howard is gentle, quiet, independent, dignified, and food-motivated!

Adoption fee: $100 (plus tax)

To adopt, please fill out an application at: https://www.projectmeow.org/adopt/adoption-application/

For additional information, contact us at: adoptions@projectmeow.org

Project MEOW is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization and is dedicated to saving the lives of West Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals.

Thank you for looking to rescue a furbaby!
