Houdini Handsome's Story

Personality Type:
Part-time Lover – wants to be in the same room but gimme some space!

My name is Houdini Handsome. I was saved from ACCT Philly after I was found with my head wedged between a gate and the foundation of a house. This was my newest magic trick, and I have to say, it didn't go as planned. I tried for hours to get loose, and I really messed up my neck with many scrapes and bruises that are now on their way to being totally healed. You'd never know what a mess I got into! Voila!

Because of my magic-trick-gone-wrong, I'm a little shy with people at first, and would benefit from an experienced cat owner. I do really like head rubs, so it's a good place to start. I do get along with other cats (with a slow intro!). Once I fully trust my human, they will get my unconditional love!

Houdini is about 5 years old and is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.

Adoption fee: $100 (plus tax)

To adopt, please fill out an application at: https://www.projectmeow.org/adopt/adoption-application/

For additional information, contact us at: adoptions@projectmeow.org

Project MEOW is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization and is dedicated to saving the lives of West Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals.

Thank you for looking to rescue a furbaby!
