Houdini's Story

Houdini is a beautiful 7-year-old cat with adorable facial markings that look like fangs. She came from a home with cats and dogs and especially loved her German shepherd friend. Houdini takes a little time to warm up to new situations and would do well in a quiet home with adults. Houdini qualifies for our Pets for Seniors Program.

P.F.S. Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

We require an approved application for every adoption. Interested people can submit an electronic application by going to our webpage: petsforseniors.org. All applications will be vetted in the order in which they are received and applicants will be notified if their applications are approved or declined. We have two programs: Pets for Seniors which matches older cats and dogs (7 years old and older) with seniors (60 years and older). We also have Pets for Saving which is for individuals 21 and older who want to adopt a cat or dog at any age. We strive to find the best homes for all of our animals and to help families find their new additions to their familes.
