Hope's Story

Hope was born in September of 2025. When she came to the shelter she had an infection in her left eye and unfortunately had to have it removed. However, it does not slow her down any! She is part of the "purr club" and is also vying for a spot in the WWE! Hope is the perfect mix of spunky and cuddly!

Cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for rabies and four-way distemper, wormed, tested for FIV and FeLV. Kittens are adoptable after they are 8 weeks old.

We welcome visitors Tuesday evenings 4-7 p.m. Saturday mornings 9 a.m. to noon. Sundays 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. You may also schedule an appointment at a time that is more convenient for your schedule. Call 217-322-2220 if you have any questions or concerns.

Applications are available online at https://schuylerhs.com/adopt/application/
