Hope's Story

🖤🐾 HOPE. 🐾🖤
Her name says everything… because this girl deserves a second chance and a fresh start.
Hope is a 6-year-old sweetheart who found herself at risk of losing everything after 5 years with the only family she’d ever known. When life changed and stress took over, so did some unwanted behaviors—and she almost paid the ultimate price for it.
But here’s the truth…
Sometimes it’s not the animal—it’s the environment. And Hope has shown us exactly who she is when she feels safe, understood, and given time to adjust. 🖤
✔️ Spayed
✔️ Up to date on vaccinations
✔️ Declawed (front)
✔️ No litter box issues in foster care
Hope prefers to be the star of the show—she’d do best as an only cat or possibly with one calm, respectful companion. She’s been slowly integrated with other mellow fosters and has come a long way, but her perfect home is one where she doesn’t have to compete for space or attention.
And once she trusts you?
She is so loving. The kind of cat who will gently reach up with her paw and touch your cheek just to say, “Hey… I’m here.” 🥺🖤
She will also politely let you know when she’s had enough pets (a girl’s gotta have boundaries), but if you listen to her cues, she’s an easy, affectionate companion.
Hope isn’t “difficult.”
She just needed someone to understand her.

Max Raven Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
The interested party fills out an adoption application off of our website. We check vetting of current or past pets to ensure they have been kept up to date. If renters, we call and check with landlord to be sure pets are allowed and they are aware. If homeowners, we check with county assessor to be sure they do own the home. We check with two references they put on their application. We do a meet and greet while simultaneously doing a home check. The meet and greet is also to introduce other resident pets to the potential adoption pet to ensure there is not out of the ordinary issues or aggression.
