Hope's Story

Hope
Est DOB: 3.16.24
Sex: Female

Hope is a sweet kitty who is blind and a bit wobbly on her feet. She has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (aka Wobbly Cat Syndrome) which is very mild, and doesn’t affect her in any significant way. Just makes her a bit funny when she does things. She navigates the world in her own unique way - guided by sound, scent and floor mats/carpets.

She’s incredibly affectionate. And is as much of a lap kitty as a cat can get. She will lay in your laps for hours, demanding belly rubs, chin rubs and giving kisses in return. When she gets excited during cuddles, her little wobbles turn into full-body wiggles and even praying motion with her paws (cutest thing ever). But just as quickly, she settles into the calmest, coziest cat curled up next to you.

Hope enjoys human company as much as she enjoys her alone time. She has no issues being curled up on her own while her human is away being busy, but does thrive on constant interactions. She goes crazy for cat nip toys, and is quite the hunter. She is a very interactive kitty.

Her blindness doesn’t slow her down. Once she has mapped out the place, she navigates herself around very well. She has impeccable litter box habits, and is an absolute no fuss, no mess cat despite her two conditions.

She is good around other cats, but might not be best around little kids. Her over-excitedness from cuddles can lead to love bites every now & then.

If you’re looking for a cat who will truly bond with you, who will make you laugh, melt your heart, and remind you that perfect doesn’t mean typical—she might just be your girl.

Location: Foster Home- New Westminster

FILL OUT AN APPLICATION HERE-
www.cattherapyandrescue.com/adopt/
