Honor's Story

Honor was rescued from life in a trash-strewn alley in Darby, PA on April 2nd. She was taken in by a kindhearted resident of the neighborhood, and together with the help of a local TNR group, she was cleaned up, spayed, tested, and brought up to date on her vaccinations.

Honor is about 2 years old, and she is such a sweetheart, no one knows how she ended up outside in the first place. One thing is for sure - she is not ever going back to that style of living! She loves the pampered life too much!

Honor loves pets and cuddles, and she quickly went from scared kitty to professional lap cat. She loves humans and the attention and praise she gets from them, and she isn't afraid to work as hard as she needs to for that attention and praise!

She is also friendly around kids, and would do well with another friendly cat, as long as they aren't the intense "in your face" playful kind. She is not the biggest fan of dogs, but if the dog is calm and the introduction is gradual, we think she can learn to trust and love them as much as she trusts and loves people now!
