UPDATE: MAY 2026- Honeydew was adopted in the fall of 2024 from a litter of 8 orange and white kittens! She has recently been returned due to circumstances changing in the home. Two year old Honeydew has adjusted well to being back at CAS. (We know she remembers us!) <br/>She is outgoing, friendly, and seems to be fine around the other kitties. Will you consider giving her another chance at a forever home? <br/><br/><br/>It is orange kitten heaven here at CAS! The attentive staff recently rescued 8 orange and white three month old kittens who were living on their own. They are now safe, happy, and fed! Also, another very important step in the rescue process is socialization by our amazing cat volunteers to help them adjust to their new surroundings and to prepare each of them for a loving family of their own. They are all acclimating very well, with a few being a bit more shy than their siblings, but these “ORANGE EIGHT” are doing great! <br/><br/>If you didn’t know already, orange cats are some of the sweetest, funniest, and most gentle cats there are! These babies are so brave and strong and are showing signs of gratitude for the love they are now surrounded by at our shelter! Do you want to be one of the lucky, loving families to adopt one of our ginger rescue kittens? <br/><br/>Fill out an application online to be approved and then come in to see each of these sweet angels to learn more about their unique “orange cat” personalities!<br/><br/>We are currently adopting out animals by appointment only Tuesday through Sunday 1:00 P.M. through 4:00 P.M. with an approved application. Cash, check, or debit and credit cards are accepted (there is a 3% convenience fee for credit cards). All cats and kittens have been spayed or neutered, have been microchipped and will be registered, and have received their age appropriate core vaccinations.<br/><br/>The well-being of our animals is our primary concern and all adoption decisions will be made with that in mind.
