Honeybee's Story
Honeybee is supposedly around two years old and was surrendered to us with limited history. Once she knows you, she really enjoys being petted, but sometimes gets a little sassy here at the shelter. With many different people and cats coming in and out every day, it's possible that she (like many cats) is just overwhelmed here and will be much happier in a more predictable and calm environment (the other cats and kittens also make her crabby). She is pretty easygoing much of the time, and enjoys lounging or watching the goings-on from various perches in the room.

She has been pretty cranky with other cats and kittens here at the shelter. She'd likely do best either as the only cat or in a large home with another independent cat that isn't too worried about trying to hang out with her or becoming her best friend. She probably wouldn't appreciate small children. Unsure about her history with dogs.

(All cats we adopt out are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for fleas, dewormed, and microchipped)

Please submit an adoption application through our website versus completing the Petfinder inquiry feature.
Our adoption application and policies can be found here:

www.secondchancear.org/adopt-1
