Honey Bunches of Oats's Story

Honey Bunches of Oats is the special-est of special little guys. And when we say that, we mean a) yes he has some special needs but also b) he is an absolute star. His love for his person is endless like the ocean and his adorable goofiness is...also endless like the ocean. This guy doesn't know he's got special needs, but he also won't know how to give you any personal space, if that's your thing. Personal space is definitely not his thing. Think golden retriever boyfriend energy except he's a tuxedo cat. Siri, play "Best of Both Worlds" by Miley Cyrus. He's an athlete, but not necessarily a deep thinker. Like Travis Kelce. Unlike Travis, he's...not equipped, as a rare birth defect has meant he's got a bit of a different situation going on down south than most boy cats. <br/>Though he was born with a rare birth defect called atresia ani, his "special needs" are mostly a thing of the past. After two successful surgeries, he is a total champ who functions just like any other cat. His only real requirement these days is the occasional pinch of MiraLAX in his food to keep things moving smoothly-a tiny extra step that he barely notices and certainly doesn't let slow him down. He is healthy, happy, and fully recovered, proving every day that he's both a resilient survivor and a total goofball. Honey Bunches is ready to leave his rough start behind and find a forever home where he can focus on his true passions: snuggling, playing, and being the center of your world.
