HONEY's Story

Kind people took me in. I was thin and in need of some TLC. Sadly, I found living with the family dog difficult. Children also made me nervous. I was brought to the shelter to help in finding me a quiet home where I would feel safe. I am approximately 3 years old. Petite. And a little shy. I like attention, with so many changes in my life, I am unsure how to ask for it. I need a cat experienced home.<br/>I know with support I will shine and thank you with soft purrs. Taunton Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

**PLEASE CALL AHEAD FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET PETS AT THE SHELTER. 508-822-1463** Adopt a "best friend" for life! Please remember that dogs and cats of all ages need and deserve happiness, love, and a home. In return, they will love you unconditionally for all of your years together. We adopt to New England Residents only and require current/past veterinarian references. An application is REQUIRED to adopt an animal. Vet references will be checked, as well as references for those who rent. Adoption of an animal will be based on APPROVED applications only. We do not accept debit/credit cards. Payment must be check or money order with proper ID or cash. If submitting an application for a dog, please email it to rdanielczyk@taunton-ma.gov or gasman6637@icloud.com Dogs are $200.00 and cats are $165.00 (kittens up to 6 months are $185.00). This price includes the spay/neuter, rabies shot, and other required vaccinations.
