Homer & Patty's Story

Meet Homer and Patty, a delightful 3-month-old bonded sibling pair. Originally rescued from a crowded, multi-pet situation with their mom and siblings snd taken in by a local shelter prior to coming to OARS in foster care, they are now ready for their forever home.

Homer and Patty are the absolute life of the party and have a love for endless kitten play, exploring new places and meeting new people. They are a genuinely carefree duo who will thrive in almost any environment.

Homer is a loving, happy-go-lucky orange boy who is always the very first to greet you at the door. He is always content and purring. When the day winds down, Homer loves nothing more than curling up in bed with his humans.

Patty matches her brother’s happy, carefree spirit and is always second to greet you at the door, but she is always the first one you will hear with her distinct meow. Patty is an absolute sweetheart who always finds her way directly into her foster family’s arms to sleep at night.

This pair currently share their foster home with a gentle 40-pound resident dog, and Patty especially loves wrestling and playing with her canine companion. They are good with school aged children.

All OARS cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, up to date on rabies and distemper, and have had dewormer medication as a preventive measure. All have tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Some kitties may even have a microchip.

HOW TO ADOPT

*Complete an adoption application on our website
http://www.orphananimalrescue.org/adopt

*Contact your veterinarian's office and NON-RELATED personal references to expect a phone call from someone at OARS. This helps us process the application within 2 days.

We focus on providing personalized care for these cats in a loving, home-like environment. Cats live in cozy rooms (cage-free!) where they can play with their favorite toys, watch bird feeder activity, and nap in a favorite sunny spot.
To save as many lives as possible, we partner directly with other rescues and shelters to focus our efforts on overcrowded facilities and kitties who require extra TLC to prepare them for adoption. Because of this, we cannot accept cats directly from the public. Everything we do is fueled by your generosity! As a 100% donation-supported rescue, every dollar goes straight toward food, supplies, and veterinary care for the animals in our hands.

Get involved and be part of the difference for these pets.
Facebook: ORPHAN ANIMAL RESCUE AND SANCTUARY
Website: orphananimalrescue.org
Instagram: @oarsrescue
TikTok: @oarsrescue
