I may be a little shy when we first meet, but if you give me a little time, a gentle approach, and let me set the pace, you'll discover I'm a sweet, curious boy with so much love to give. Since coming to the shelter, I've made wonderful progress thanks to the kindness of staff and volunteers, and I'm getting braver every day. One of the quickest ways to my heart is through play—I absolutely love chasing wand toys and laser lights, and once we've had a fun play session, I'm much more likely to enjoy gentle pets and your company. Churu treats are another favorite of mine, and they've helped me learn that people can be pretty wonderful! I now spend my days in the cat colony room, where I enjoy the company of the other cats and have become much more comfortable exploring my surroundings. Sometimes I'll greet people with adorable little chirps and meows, and if you earn my trust, I'll happily lick treats from your finger and lean into gentle head pets. I'm still building my confidence, so I appreciate people who understand that friendships don't have to happen overnight.
