Hollar's Story

This is Hollar! Hollar is a very sleepy kitty who will happily spend all day in the nearest window. Despite her tail injury, she loves jumping and climbing. When she's in the mood for it she loooves petting, but make sure to take your hand away if she starts reaching for it with a paw. Neither of us know why she bats and hisses sometimes, and it seems to distress her that she does it. Hollar enjoys feather wands and gets so excited about treats that come in bags that sometimes she forgets about the eating the treat part. Just the sound of a bag opening is enough.

Hollar had a tail pull injury before arriving at ACCT and has no mobility or sensation in her tail. Veterinary exam also showed a broken tooth, though it doesn't seem to be causing her any issues. It is very important that potential adopters are willing to leave her completely alone when she is not in the mood to be pet. She will eventually warm up and be in the mood for petting much more often. Fearful of other cats, but not aggressive. No contact with mice, but she has been killing bugs.

If you are interested in meeting Hollar, send an email to foster@acctphilly.org and fill out an application today!
