Holland is a striking 1-year-3-month-old black cat who is still overwhelmed by shelter life and prefers to keep her distance. Coming from a property with far too many cats after their owner passed away, Holland likely had very little one-on-one interaction with people before arriving at the shelter. Because of that, she remains very nervous with handling and may hiss or attempt to bite when frightened or feeling cornered. Holland will need a patient home willing to let her adjust at her own pace. She may also thrive in a barn, shop, or other working-cat setting where she can enjoy the safety of regular care while having the space and independence she prefers.utine, and a safe place to land without pressure for close interaction.
