Herron's Story
Herron has been with me for a couple of months, and watching her blossom has been one of the most rewarding experiences. When she first arrived after being surrendered, she was understandably cautious and unsure. She was never fearful or aggressive—she just needed someone willing to earn her trust at her own pace.

Today, I couldn't be more proud of how far she's come. She is so brave!

Herron is a sweet, loving, curious little girl with the gentlest soul. Once she feels safe, she completely melts your heart. Every day when I get home from work, she's there to greet me, and I always say, "Hi, pretty girl."

Some of Herron's favorite things:
* Making biscuits
* Curling up right beside you
* Climbing onto my chest for cuddles (a huge milestone that took time and trust)
* Sitting in the windowsill watching birds, bugs, and listening to all the outside sounds
* Watching Cat TV
* Greeting you with her tiny little "meeps" (she just recently found her "meow" with me)

Herron gets along great with other cats and has become good friends with my own cat. They spend their days chasing each other around the house and playing, so I think she'd do well with a calm feline companion.

Herron will do best with someone who understands that love isn't always instant. She needs a patient, understanding person who will let her settle in on her own timeline. Once she knows she's safe, she'll come to you.

Because she's naturally timid, I think she'd be happiest in a quieter home without a lot of loud activity. I don't know how she'd do with children or dogs, but I think she'd really thrive in a calm environment where she can continue building her confidence.

I know Herron has so much love to give, and I hope she finds someone who will love her exactly as she is and give her the patience she deserves. If you're looking for a quiet companion with the sweetest personality, Herron just might be your perfect match.

Herron has no health issues.

Adoption fee is $100. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed and kept up to date on flea prevention.

If youre interested in adopting, please apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CMR/Cat
