Herme's Story

**Note: PetFinder sometimes has issues with delivering inquiries. If you do not hear from us within a couple days, please email us directly at stina.larson@gmail.com or skip sending an inquiry via PetFinder and email us directly.**

Herme was found in December along with his mom and five siblings, abandoned together in a box. Without help, this little family likely wouldn’t have survived on their own. Thankfully, they were rescued and brought into foster care, where they could grow up safe, warm, and well cared for. Now that his mom and siblings have found their forever homes, it’s Herme’s turn to find a family of his very own.

Herme is a handsome boy with soft, silvery gray tabby fur and an extra-special personality to match. He’s everyone’s friend — outgoing, affectionate, and basically one big Valentine all the time. During the day, Herme loves rough-and-tumble play and getting into silly kitten antics. In the evenings, he transforms into a champion lap kitten, happily rotating between humans to make sure no one feels left out.

Because Herme is a young, active, and playful boy, he’s looking for a home with another young cat who can be his buddy — someone to wrestle with, chase around, and help him dream up a little harmless mischief. He truly thrives with a feline friend.

Herme has been fostered with a very active black Lab and would be happy in a home with a cat-friendly dog. He would also do well in a home with children who understand how to be gentle with animals and respect their space.

If you’re looking for a confident, loving, and fun kitten who will fill your home with laughter, snuggles, and endless affection, Herme may be the perfect match for you.

Herme was born around 10/1/25. He has been neutered and vaccinated. He is litter box trained.

The adoption fee is $125.

We recommend adopting two kittens if you have no other pets (or even if you do), because you will get twice the love with less work and they will develop fewer behavioral issues, while costs remain relatively similar.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.

For additional information on our group and what we do, please check out our website: www.pawsitivity.info
