Herbert's Story

Say hello to Herbert! This guy is one of the newest members at the shelter. He was found wandering around an apartment complex in Liberty. His finder thought he was far too sweet to be living outside so he was brought to the shelter.

Herbert is a super sweet, friendly boy with the gentlest disposition. He loves attention and will happily soak up all the pets and affection you're willing to give. Despite being found outside, Herbert is ready to leave outdoor life behind and become someone's beloved indoor companion.

This handsome guy is looking for a safe, loving home where he can relax, feel secure, and enjoy all the comforts of family life. If you're searching for a kind-hearted kitty who just wants to be loved, Herbert may be the one for you.

**Herbert will be neutered, vaccinated against Rabies, and FIV/Feline Leukemia combo tested prior to going to his new home. He has been given a feline distemper vaccination, dewormer, and flea/tick treatment.**

Herbert will have an adoption fee of $76 with an approved adoption application. This fee will cover the cost of his neuter, vaccinations given in shelter, dewormer, flea/tick treatment, and FIV combo test. This fee does NOT cover the cost of his Rabies vaccination. This additional fee is paid by his adopter, directly to the vet clinic at time of pick up.

If you'd like to express interest in Herbert, you may submit an adoption application here:

https://libertymissouri.gov/FormCenter/Liberty-Animal-Shelter-7/Liberty-Animal-Shelter-Adoption-Applicat-543

The Liberty Animal Shelter is open Monday through Friday 10a.m. to 6p.m., and 10a.m. to 3p.m. on the weekends.
*hours are subject to change*

We cannot guarantee the availability any particular animal.
