Henry's Story

Henry is a solidly built, affectionate young grey tabby male (estimated about 10 months) who showed up at a colony of outdoor cats with regular feeders. Our best guess is he was raised with people, but as an un-neutered male, as he grew, he became less cute and more trouble, so he was dumped outside. The colony caretakers saw Henry was extremely friendly, so they trapped him and got him to START II's shelter.

After getting acclimated over his first few days, Henry won everyone over with his sweet meows, calm demeanor, and his love of being pet. Henry tolerates being picked up and loves human attention. He also does well with other cats! He's just a big, loveable goofball (he's about 13.5lbs now and will likely fill in a bit more).

If you like those big, friendly male cats with a bit of chubbiness to their cheeks, Henry is for you! And look at those eyes!

Henry is neutered, up to date on shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

If you are interested in adopting Henry, please email us at start2nj@yahoo.com, or call Jodi at (201) 925-9514.
