Henrietta Owl's Story
Meet Henrietta Owl!

Henrietta Owl is a striking girl, easily identified by her bright green eyes and a rear right foot that looks as if it has been dipped in peanut butter. (Her foster mom calls it her lucky kitty foot). She has lovely soft tortoiseshell fur that accentuates her beautiful eyes.

Henrietta is shy at first, and enjoys the comforts of cozy covered cat beds and furniture to hide under. However Henrietta is easily won over by food! She is a joyous eater, and will head butt your hand when you are dispensing her food- the better to give her more than her allotted serving. She cries with joy when it is time to eat, and runs in little circles until she falls over and exposes her generously sized belly. Henrietta allows that belly to be rubbed, and enjoys being petted, but she does not want you to pick her up. She requires a calm home where her humans respect her boundaries but give her the love, attention, and food she deserves. She would not be a good fit for a home with small children, as she is easily startled and can become overstimulated.
Henrietta lives peacefully with other fosters and the resident cats, and has a submissive personality. She would be fine with a similarly minded cat companion, although she could likely do well as an only cat.

Henrietta is just over 1 year old- still young enough to be playful, but mature enough to understand the finer things indoor life has to offer. She has been spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Adopt Henrietta today, so you can feed her treats and tell her she's pretty!
