Hemlock's Story

Hemlock is a stunning almost–2‑year‑old boy with the heart of a lover and the purr of a champion—and it certainly doesn’t hurt that he’s impossibly cute!

This sweet, affectionate guy spends his days fishing for attention (sometimes quite literally), and the second you offer him a bit of love, his little motorboat purr kicks right in. He’s a total cuddle bug who melts in your arms and proudly enjoys being carried around like the spoiled baby he knows he is. Hemlock is also a gentle goofball—adorably uncoordinated in that “how is he this cute?” kind of way.

Whether he’s lounging under a tree, chirping to get your attention, or flopping over for belly rubs, Hemlock lives for affection. When he’s not doting on people, he loves cozying up with other cats on a cat tree or watching the world from a sunny window with his friends. He’s incredibly sweet and gentle with both cats and dogs, and because he’s never been an only pet, we would like him to go to a home with other friendly companions to spend his days with or to be adopted with one of his foster siblings who he has been with for a while.

Hemlock is very treat‑motivated—he’ll do just about anything for a purrpop or a Churu—and he shines during playtime, especially with feather wands or a good game of chase. This handsome, well‑mannered boy is the perfect addition to a multi‑pet household. He’s great with dogs, wonderful with cats, and happiest when he’s near his people. At night, he likes to make his rounds, say goodnight, and ensure everyone is tucked in before curling up at the foot of the bed. He loves playtime, snack time, and most of all, your time.

If you have room in your heart for a silly, snuggly, talkative boy with a gentle spirit, Hemlock is ready to shower you with endless affection, sweet meows, and purrs galore.
