Heidi's Story

Hi, I'm Heidi! Right now, shelter life is still a little scary for me, so I feel safest tucked away under my blanket while I take everything in. New places, new sounds, and new people can be overwhelming, but the humans here think I'll start coming out of my shell more and more each day.

The good news? I'm already past the wild kitten stage, so no climbing your curtains or zooming through the house at 3 a.m. I'm an adult lady who's more interested in cozy naps, quiet company, and finding a safe place to call home. With a little patience and love, I think I'll make a pretty wonderful companion.

If you have specific questions about Heidi, contact shelter staff!

**Heidi has been spayed and vaccinated against Rabies and feline distemper. She will be tested for FIV/Feline Leukemia prior to going to her new home.**

Heidi will have an adoption fee of $60 with an approved adoption application. This fee will cover the cost of her spay, vaccinations given in shelter, dewormer, and FIV combo test. There are no additional fees associated with Heidi's adoption.

If you'd like to express interest in Heidi, you may submit an adoption application here:
https://www.libertymissouri.gov/FormCenter/Liberty-Animal-Shelter-7/Liberty-Animal-Shelter-Adoption-Applicat-543

The Liberty Animal Shelter is open Monday and Tuesday 10a.m. to 5p.m., Wednesday through Friday 10a.m. to 6p.m. and 10a.m. to 3p.m. on the weekends.
*hours are subject to change*

We cannot guarantee the availability of any particular animal.
