Hector's Story

We present to you our magnificent big cat, Hector! Hector is a darling of a cat!!! He looooves to chat, and in fact, he has great conversations with his foster family. He loves to be petted, but don't touch his lower back or his tail, because he'll let you know by nibbling at you. Unfortunately, due to his years of wandering, Hector has contracted FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), which means that not only is his immune system weakened, but he won't be able to live with other cats who haven't been infected themselves. He is a calm cat, who is only looking for a cozy home where he will be loved and pampered. ----------------------------------------- Nous vous présentons notre magnifique gros matou Hector! Hector est un amour de matou!!! Il adooooore jaser, il a d'ailleur, de grande conversation avec sa famille d'accueil. Il aime beaucoup se faire flatter, mais ne touchez pas au bas de son dos ou à sa queue, car il vous le dira clairement en vous croquant. Malheureusement, dû à ses année d'errance, Hector a contracté le FIV ( virus de l'immunodéficience féline), ce qui veut dire, que non seulement son système immunitaire est affaiblie, mais il ne pourra pas cohabiter avec d'autres chats qui ne sont pas eux-même été contaminés. Il est un chat calme, qui ne recherche qu'un foyer douillet, où il se fera aimer et chouchouter.

Refuge les Vagabonds's Adoption Policy

Interested applicants contact us by email or Messenger to inquire information about our cats available for adoption or for a specific cat. A first screening is made by email or chat, and the potential family will meet virtually with the foster family to determine if it’s a right fit, followed by a in-person visit at the foster family’s home. If the visit goes well, and the applicant, foster family and the rescue Manager agree, we proceed with the adoption (signature of a contract, and starter kit bag is given to the cat’s new family).

We are a cat shelter on the South Shore of Montreal. Our cats grow up in foster homes before being placed for adoption. Our goal is to help the community.
