Hector's Story

Hector is one of the newest additions to the rescue. We had seen a cat hanging around the property where our Catty Shack is located. We never got a good look at him, as he would always run off whenever we opened the door, or pulled up in the driveway. I decided to trap him as he had been hanging around for a bit and was ripping into cat food bags in the barn because he was hungry. It took a couple days, but I finally got him. He is so sweet, but so nervous around other cats, that we have had to slowly get him used to being around other cats, so eventually he can go out to the Catty Shack and meet new friends. I am not sure how a sweet cat like Hector had ended up all alone on an acerage, or what he went through before he was rescued, but I am so glad he is safe now and he will never have to struggle out there all alone.
