Hazel

Meet Hazel.<br/><br/>Hazel is a beautiful orange-and-white gal, found abandoned during a summer heat wave in Bala Cynwyd after her previous owners moved away and left her behind. Some caring neighbors took her in a couple of months ago and spent that time nursing her back to health.<br/><br/>Hazel has now been fully examined by a veterinarian. She was already spayed and microchipped, and her former owners had no issue saying they left her behind and didn't want her :( <br/><br/>Her vaccinations have been updated, and she tested negative for FeLV, FIV, and heartworm. She briefly wore a cone while minor abrasions on her tail and hind leg healed after an encounter with other cats outdoors, but she has recovered well. <br/><br/>Unfortunately, Hazel's finders' home is already a bit full with two other cats, two birds, and a dog, so they reach out to us looking for help in finding Hazel a home where she won't be left behind like a piece of old furniture.. <br/><br/>At around 10 pounds, Hazel is the perfect lap-sized companion. She is incredibly affectionate, loves to cuddle, enjoys curling up beside people for naps or movie nights, and has a sweet, playful personality. She also does wonderfully with children and has so much love to give.<br/><br/>Hazel is currently being housed at our Adoption Center in PetSmart in Northeast Philadelphia (7422 Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19152).
