We worried she'd never warm up and feel safe but she totally proved us wrong. She is now a loving, social, sassy, playful girl! She is more brave each day and has the most fun personality. She's a little shadow who follows us around, and snuggles on our laps. All she needed was lots of time and love. Hathar's ideal adopter would be very patient and willing to give her all the time and reassurance she needs to warm up and feel safe and comfortable - She would definitely prefer a quiet home. Friends of Normie's Adoption Policy

We start with an application. If the application is approved, we then call the applicant. We do a phone interview that lasts anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour. If another phone call is needed, we may do multiple. If those two steps go well, we then do a home check and then a supply check to make sure the applicant meets our standards of care. If an applicant passes those steps, we then will set up a meet and greet and see how the applicant does with that kitty. If that step goes well, they are then cleared for adoption and are able to take the kitty home in a carrier (not cardboard box).
