Harvey is 11 years old and looks like a big beaver. He hoovers his wet food every morning and would win a nationwide eating contest with ease.<br/><br/>Harvey resides in our Big Cattery and loves his roommates. Harvey would do best in a multi-cat home with an owner who can be patient with him opening up. Despite his size, he is a timid boy and needs some reassurance in social settings with people.<br/><br/>When the shelter is quiet, Harvey will roll around on the floor and play with toys. He has two favorites, a catnip-filled sardine plush and a lobster. We know one day Harvey will feel confident enough to play with his toys in front of us, and we cannot wait to see it.<br/><br/>Stop by to fill out an adoption application and spend as much time as you like with our cats. We do not adopt first come; we always select the best placement for our animals. Please call your veterinarian to permit them to speak with us for our vet check. If you rent, bring proof (lease/contract) that you are allowed to have a cat.<br/> <br/>Our adoption fee is $50 for cats. This includes FIV/FeLV testing, flea/tick preventatives, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines, and spay/neuter if six months or older.
