Harper's Story
Hi, I’m Harper — a 12-year-old queen with a soft heart and a second chance at happiness. When I first came to the shelter, I was scared of everything. I didn’t want anyone touching me, and I wasn’t sure if I could trust people again. But with time, patience, and love, I’ve completely blossomed. Now I’m one of the first cats to greet visitors when they walk through the door, and I’ve even discovered that laps are pretty wonderful places to be.
I’m a sweet, gentle girl who’s looking for a calm and loving home where I can truly relax and be spoiled like the queen I am. I’d much rather have all the attention to myself, so being your one and only pet sounds perfect to me. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a quiet, loving soul, I think we might be meant for each other.

Harper is also part of the Take A Chance On Me Program. This means her adoption fee has been reduced for the right home.
If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org.

Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.

As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.
