Harold's Story

Hi, I’m Harold. When we were just two days old, a friend of our foster Mom found my brother, Harper, and me in her yard and brought us to our foster Mom’s home. She was fostering a Mama cat and her four kittens, who were also two days old. Hazel, the Mama cat, accepted us as if we were her own, and we became a family of six. Our foster Mom made sure we were all warm, comfortable, and very loved. She took extra special care of Hazel so that she could take care of us. We were able to grow up feeling safe, nurtured, and protected. I had a very special bond with Mama Hazel. I stayed the closest to her and did not venture out as much as my siblings. I’m still a little shy, and I’ll need a little extra time to adjust, as well as another kitten or young cat in my forever home. I love to play with my siblings. I am the smallest, but that doesn’t stop me; I definitely keep up with them. My foster Mom says that I am gentle, sweet, affectionate, and full of fun. I’m not a lap kitten quite yet, but with a bit of patience, I might be soon. I purr when my foster Mom holds me, and she says that my eyes will melt you. I’m feeling more comfortable and braver every day, and I know I’ll blossom in a home with another young cat or kitten.
